Guest Testimonials |
Dear Jasmine and Karl, I am sending a couple of photos to you. We had a wonderful time at Makutsi. The staff were efficient and welcoming, the guides were very knowledgeable and were so happy to share their knowledge. The highlight for me was going out with Natalie to track down the cheetah and her cubs. To stand so close that we could hear her purring and to see the cubs interact with her was a privilege. You have a very special place there. Being able to show your guests the beauty of South Africa and to be able to give so much support to the local communities is really great. All the best to all the staff. Hope one day to get back there. Regards June and Vince Jones
Karl, we are safe back to Sweden after a fantastic holiday in South Africa, we really enjoyed everything. Our stay at Makutsi was overwhelming, Christina and I are part of your fan club and will do as much marketing for Makutsi as we can. The house we stayed in, the food, the whole atmosphere, your and Dave’s skills as guides made our stay perfect. All fantastic memories will stay for the rest of our life. Please thank all, your father and sisters and all others from us. Whenever any of you comes to Sweden please see our homes as your Swedish Lodge! Best Regards Kjell Nilson & Christina Hugstad Göteborg Sweden
Hello Makutsi team, My family and I recently spent a week in Makutsi and enjoyed every moment of it. Our experience with the game drive, the excursions to tribal village, Blyde river canyon, Kruger national park and the cheetah walk were full of excitement and very well catered for. The guides (Tris, Dave, Yesko, “Dutchman” and Karl) were very professionals and helpful. So did others in the office and kitchen. Since arriving back home, we have been telling our relatives and friend about your camp and hopefully someone will make a visit. Once again, thank you MAKUTSI team for all for the experience which we will treasure it for ever. Say hello to Mr Weber (owner). By the way I have included some photographs. Please put them into your web site, if you chose to. Cheers, Jeyendren family from Sydney, Australia
To the Weber Family and the Staff , We would like to thank you for providing us with such an enjoyable and exciting time with you all. The warm family-style hospitality, good food and great guiding all ensured a wonderful stay. We would happily recommend Makutsi to other travellers and hope to pay you another visit on our next trip to Africa. Thanking you once again .... cheers to all Helen and Georgs Sivijs (Rondavel 35)
Dear Gerhard and staff, Your hard work over several years has certainly materialized and offers your visitors a wonderful experience. The programms on television pertaining to wildlife drew our attention over the years, which made us seek this holiday. The form your staff gave us to fill in about the dangers of staying at our own risk brought out the reality of living amidst the wild animals on your reserve. Words cannot express our awesome experience on our schedules safaris watching the various animals in their natural habitat – like the pride of Lions devowing their prey. We were also fortunate to encounter elephants, giraffe, blue wildebeest, kudu, impala, cheetah etc. just to name some of the animals we saw.. Now the main topic of your spontaneous friendliness you and your staff extended with facilities and services made us feel special and relaxed thereby enjoying our holiday which we did not dream of. You certainly deserve more exposure and advertising for people around the world to know what Makutsi Safari Springs offers. We thank you and your friendly staff for this memorable experience which we take back to Australia and sincerely hope that many other visitors worldwide will come and enjoy „Paradise“ in Makutsi. Thanking you once again, your friends from Room 54 Gilbert & Marilyn Pinto Australia
To all our “Newfound” friends at Makutsi! Well, what can we say? What an excellent facility to make our family most welcome. We truly appreciate the attention to us and attentiveness shown to our daughter. We felt we crammed in quite a good slice of South Africa; its’ truly magnificent Fauna and Flora, its’ magically breathtaking mountains and diverse cultural stance – all at, or nearby to MAKUTSI. We are able to brag – we experienced the “Big5”. Our highlight is quite possibly our last evening where we discovered 3 cheetah close to the Makutsi Entrance Gate, and our entertainment by the female staff with traditional song and dance. All experienced in 7 days! We are ever grateful for our informative hosts and guides, our fantabulous meals (and the experience of wild/native game) and the unique surrounds by which we were accommodated in at Makutsi. Much love Stefani, Trevor and Madeleine Hall Australia
